Frank's writing.
Everything was normal for me while being on the Faceless tour lately, wake up, take care of my kids, talk to Alicia, avoid Gerard, shut myself in a room, think of Gerard, cry over Gerard, sew my emotions back up and perform in front of more kids. Repeat.
Until we got to Mexico, everything changed there. You know how it's really hot there, right? well on the 29th of June it decided to rain, and it was the hottest fucking rain ever.
Warm mud splashing on my pants isn't exactly desirable, but the worst happened that night. I was sitting outside by the bus with Nathan, and a light murmur of people were swarming past the bus, everyone I knew bursted out and joined them.
There was someone from Faceless, a techie, roadie, I don't know but it was definitely someone from the tour, screaming that he was going to kill someone who worked at a bank in Mexico. Our friend Flame worked at a bank in Mexico, and he has VERY good ties with the music industry. Everyone was willing to protect him. Honestly, I felt like Faceless was more powerful than it actually was that night. crowds and crowds of people were running around screaming, and I got so lost. I found Gerard a little way away from the busses, desperate for someone familiar, I spoke to him.
But he was drunk and crying all over the place, saying something that Lindsey was giving birth to their daughter. Deciding not to leave him there on the ground, because I admit, I love him more than fucking anything in the world, I walked him to the hospital and cleaned him up, and then sent him to Lindsey's room without any last words. I left after that, and then there was a crime scene by a set of apartments next to where the busses were. Out of all the people in the world, my friends had to be the one to find the guy attempting murder. The ambulance sirens went off like bombs, but nobody was seriously hurt, I kept telling myself.
Ray busted the door down and made sure Flame was okay, and Bob was the one who tackled the man down to a bed, not knowing he had a knife in his pocket. Ray said to me that he had never seen Bob so violent and evil looking, like he had the worst intentions for the man. Luckily Bob got out okay, with only a large slash wound across his hand, unfortunately it was so deep he had to get a few stitches. Flame wasn't the kid I watched grow up for a year, he wasn't ten anymore. At best, he was a mature teenager. But I was ok, because I know kids grow up...
Arthur's parents had found him too, and I know exactly why they came. Quinn must have known this guy was after Flame for a long time, so he alerted the Kali's once they reached Mexico so they could catch a plane to that area and take Flame back with them. I'm so scared. Arthur doesn't know that Quinn knows Flame, or even his parents. He doesn't know who he's dating, or how dangerous this man could be to him. All I can do at this point is trust him. I put faith in him because he used to be one of my bestfriend's.
We were relocated to the hospital by the police and put in a private waiting room. Alicia, Mikey, Nathan, Tyler, Bren, Ryan, Hayley, Josh, and Jeremy were all there too. We talked for a little while, and then worried some. And then we went to go see Gerard, since I mentioned he was with Lindsey, and she was having her baby right now. Mikey was so excited, I know I shouldn't be mad at him because he DOESS have a right to be happy for his brother and new baby niece. But I am, I'm mad that he's approving what my fiancee did, even if it is his brother.
I was in the front of the group, leading them to her room. But I felt like I was all the way in the back, sulking and feeling shut in. I made sure I went in the room last and stayed out of his sight, he wouldn't want to see my face. I was so embarrassed. Everyone circled the new baby, Lindsey lie in the bed half asleep, and Gerard looked so proud. He gave her to Mikey first. Her name was Bandit Lee Way, she took his last name... She was a very cute baby, full black hair and dark skin, and she was almost as small as Nathaniel when he was born. I walked out quickly so they didn't see me basically crying, and I remember running out of the hospital and to this parking lot. I forgot everything from there.
